Career development planning is a fancy term for "Think Ahead!" Do you really want to work your current job forever? Not likely. Developing your job experience and education into a career takes time, patience, and little luck. The truly successful adults manage to take a career that not only pays the bills, but brings some form of happiness or fulfillment in their lives. Career development planning does require you to access your life through personal inventories, but we won't use any confusing counseling terms here.
